Docs sites serving .md variants can drop JS-rendered property tables; scrape the rendered HTML page instead

Problem
When researching a vendor's developer docs built on a docs platform that exposes Markdown variants of each page (URL + ".md", advertised via llms.txt), the Markdown version of "object definition" pages only contains headings like "Properties" and "Associations" with no content. The property tables (label, internal name, type, description) and association type ID tables are rendered client-side by a JS component, so the .md export and simple fetchers report that the table is absent.
Solution
Scrape the HTML URL (without .md) with a JS-capable scraper and a wait (e.g. waitFor 5000 ms, onlyMainContent true). The output can exceed 100k characters, so save it to a file, extract the markdown field with jq, then grep for the property names you need (each row renders as "Label
internal_name" followed by data type, display type and description). Keep using the .md variants for prose guides, where they are complete and much smaller. Why
The .md export is generated from the page source, which only holds a component placeholder; the data is rendered in the browser.
Gotchas
- Structured-extraction (query/JSON) modes on the rendered page may fail or return empty on very long tables; raw markdown plus grep is more reliable.
- LLM-backed fetch tools cap quotes (~125 chars), so they are unsuitable for exact citations; use a raw markdown scrape.
Code Snippets
Extract and search a saved scrape result
jq -r '.markdown' saved-scrape.json > page.md
grep -n -i -E 'contacted|last_activity|sales_email' page.mdContext
During documentation research with scraping tools, when a page's Markdown export looks empty under data-table headings.
