Show swap information:
swapon


Enable a given swap area:
sudo swapon {{path/to/file}}


Enable all swap areas specified in /etc/fstab except those with the noauto option:
sudo swapon {{[-a|--all]}}


Enable a swap partition by its label:
sudo swapon -L {{label}}
